A copy > of each essay should be archived at the department. That's the minor essays Alan. Not the others. There are different views at different University. In Gothenburg my major essay/thesis(vetenskapligt arbete inte uppsats) for my teacher's exam had covers and the essay was to be sent to the University Library(haven't checked it were it is). In Linköping the B-essay were kept in department, C-essay(vetenskapligt arbete) a copy at the department one at the Library the thesis(D-essay) vetenskapligt arbete were sent to the University Library in 3 copies. In Gothenburg at an other dept then the one above they kept B and C-essays at the dept. What they did with the D-essay/thesis I don't know because I only wrote a B-essay at the Culture-Geography Dept. As I told before you need to have at least one C-essay plus a score of 120 for a BA, at least one D-essay(vetenskapligt arbete) + a score of 160 for an MA; I don't know the new system for becoming a teacher but in the one I attended you needed at least two subjects where you had written at least a C-essay(vetenskapligt arbete) in each some subject such as Swedish language you had to have at least a D-essay in in either case you needed a score of minimum 180 to become a teacher in the later grades. The earlier Swedish system was better I think. Then you started with your subjects and finished with the teacher education. That's what I think, I don't know.
