Their teenager of all trades was one Gerald Kookson III or Kookie for short. He drove a California custom car, dressed "hip," as opposed to the suit and tie the other characters wore, and was always combing his hair, which was styled in what was known then as a duck tail. There was a briefly popular song titled "Kookie, Kookie lend me your comb" and a brief fashion trend based on the way he dressed (casual with white socks)
