Lykeion (Lyceym) in Athens: Any Recent Developments?

In 1997, news reports said Aristotle's Lyceum had been unearthed. I went
there in 2000 and took photos of the site, which was being worked on.
But since then, I've not heard anything about the dig. There were rumors
in 2001 that the site would be opened to the public in time for the 2003
Summer Olympic Games in Athens, but none of the recent publicity for the
games has said anything more about this. A fairly extensive web search
through websites and newsgroups has not turned up anything more recent
than 1997's original annoucements.

Does anybody in this newsgroup know what's happening now at thet site?
