Depends, to there is no sin in anything as a savage.
Life is but survival, to kill is to be fit
to be killed is natural selection and makes others fit. 

I always philosophize that the existence of god comes
from the concept that savages wanted to gain control 
of the selection process, but because they were savages
the process could not be controlled. The concept of god
is to control the savage heart so that the savage could 
then have control of his own fate and become god.
