Hmm, that gives me an idea.  Let's send Ed back in time to the Jurassic
Period and drop him into the nest of the flying Reptile du jour about 5
minutes before the eggs are going to hatch.  Having a devious Professor
noting the exact location of Ed's 'past' fate, unsuspecting paleontology
students have a dig and make a discovery.  Student A, "OMG! there's
fosslized Human remains in Dino poop!".  Student B, "And look!, a
fossilized gall bladder in the vein!".
Professor chuckles, "poor Ed is now as old as coal".
