It has two parts:  The first parses a locally run news server, and inserts
headers into a mysql database.

The second is a web interface that lets you mine the database, looking for
idiosyncratic headers.  You can, for instance, show all posts from a
particular IP address, or using a particular version of a newsreader, or
both...  It's a neat tool for ferretting out sock puppets and other identity
sleight of hand. 

When I initially started on it, 6 years ago, it was way ahead of it's time,
but now I'm sure it's rather passe, and likely duplicated, in-house by more
than 1 law-enforcement agency.

I've stopped development on it - It's free to a good home, provided the
person is interested in taking it and helping it become what it can be.
