Re: Loss of kribs fry

Fro what its worth, After seening the numbers of my fry slowly drop (in my
case the parents were excellent - it was the other fish) -
I tried several things like 1) keep a night light on to help parents see if
other fish are coming close. 2) put a sponge on filter intake - I saw this
happen as the whole gang got too close to the intake, 3) when parents start
to loose interest - they are probably about to have another spawn - at this
point I syphoned (gently) the fry and put them in a separate tank - they did
fine.

So if you have another tank - you can syphone the 3 fry you see and save
them.

Ultimately, the problem with the kribs is as the fry become bigger the
parents will become less tolerant and you'll have to remove them anyway. so
if you want to keep these fry maybe best bet is to syphon them off once you
start seeing fry losses
