Cultural Anthropology, biology or what the heck?

I am very interested in readable, non-academic books that explain , eg
, why humans have adopted certain sexual and other behaviors and
compares these strategies or actions with nature as a whole. I.E.
joann ellison rogers book "Sex, A natural history". I tried to look up
other books but they are all over the place, some under biology, etc.
Diamond's Guns and Steel book was located practically all alone at
this library. My question is: Is Rogers Book classified as biology or
anthropology or what? Where can i find similar books (tried amazon) ?
Thanks in advance.

this was the wrong week to give up coconuts.
