Yes, the same climatic instability & habitat variability explain why some
hominins look so much like bovids...  :-D   You're not only a slow reader
but also a slow thinker. Apparently savanna believers only see what they
want to see. If there's something that doesn't fit their ideas, they just
close their eyes & all problems are gone: just do like the part about
"climatic instability & habitat variability" and everything is explained: no
need any more to explain why humans differ from chimps as well as from
mosaic savanna bovids in having 10 times more SC fat, in being furless, in
having much larger brains etc.
