What you are seeing is the demise of a newsgroups similar to 
what happened in sci.anthropology. I used to make an effort to 
clean out the trash, but since I was attacked by members of the 
group and I have the filterware to dump the trash I don't bother 
anymore. If you want to curtail the traffic you will need to 
respond in those specific crossposted groups that are responding 
to jabriol and conrad and ask them to remove s.a.p. from the ng 
line or not feed jabriol or ed. Right now there are blocks in 
place with T.O. because I complained, ed and jabriol are now 
rotating between several newsgroups so that each new group they 
xpost to needs to be informed. If all the post you see are from 
Jabriol or Ed, then thats the best situation, live with it.  
[Although occasionally Jabriol goes over the line with lued 
postings and particularly offensive material, at which point I 
would contact his ISP or Newsfeed, and point them to past 
Jabriol activities and then they can decide whether they still 
want to provide him services]
