Re: Please vote on the egg problem

In message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Mary Fisher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes

Well, so far 8 people think eggs are eggs and only one dissident has failed to comply, daring to say that eggs might be something else altogether. He'll be getting the 3am knock on the door, obviously. However, the Section wishes to know do YOU think eggs are eggs?

It depends on the egg.

It could be an imaginary egg.

And 'he' is a she. And I wouldn't want to knock on her door at 3 am - although come to think of it she might well be up at that time.

And I always thought that the saying was "As sure as eggs IS eggs."

And in Ireland I've heard it as "As sure as eggs are little apples" so an
alternative answer is that no, eggs are little apples. Q.E.D.
