pectin content



Here is what I found for pectin content of various fruits and 
berries for jelly making:

little or no pectin content:
- strawberry
- cherry
- rhubarb
- pineapple
- loganberry

medium pectin content:
- blackberry
- raspberry
- peach
- apricot

high pectin contnet:
- apple (sweet, sour, crab)
- cranberry
- currant
- gooseberry
- sour plumb
- grape
- quince

very high pectin content:
- rowanberry (mountain ash_)
- barberry
- scarlet sumac berry
