Wouldn't think moisture would make a difference if the comb is capped. Have always heard the term hydrophilic, but guess hygroscopic fits the bill too. Anyway, I've had honey crystallize in the supers before. Unless you have a "hot room", the only way I know is to uncap the honey and put it back on the hive. Tried putting it back without uncapping, and found that a lot of it was still crystallized. (West Texas) Mark
