My first thought was drones. I was out at my hives yesterday and watched the "eviction of the drones" for several minutes. They were not happy about being unceremoniously kicked out of their happy homes and were quite vocally buzzing about. I do have one hive of Cordovans, so they're easy to identify and those drones were trying to get into any hive that would have them! Fun Stuff!
