ICEBOX no Datatransfer wirth PC

PC:
Pentuim III 1Ghz
256MB
40GB HD
3D Prophet II MX  (ohne TV-Out)
Usb 1.0

My Problem is:

I connected Ice Box with Schema A of Manual.
Because without TVOUT Cable.
IceBox link to PC OK.
The Sofware is automaticly aktivated.
Because if a Sender is choosen, no Screen appears on PC-Monitor.
No Data Transfer is beginning. The File is 0Kb.

If IceBox is in PC Mode, and the Software is shuttig down, IceBox
do not have any reaction.
You must switch it off and on then funktion is ok.

What i've made wrong?
Is TVOUT important to see Pic on Pc-Monitor?
Is Usb1.0 enough or should it be USB 2.0?
Is there any howto connect IceBox with PC?
