I have never been able to pick up the middle east beam in southern Norway on
a
3m.  The european beam is ok on the 3m.  With a 1.2m not all european beam
transponders is OK...  I have not heard about Amos-2  and as far as I know
there is only
Amos-1 with two beams at 7-west.
