No, the receivers have completely different codes.  They are both Hughes but
one is a TiVo (HDVR2) and the other is a standard recevier (GCEB0).

Interesting!  I'd love to know how to do that, although I don't need to do
it right now.  If it's a simple explanation, please shoot.

Yes, some button presses (Guide, etc.) always lights the original satellite
button.  But the manual specifically states that you can convert the VCR key
for control of a second sat receiver.

THANKS LENROC!!  Wow, that JP1 stuff looks cool.  I've always been annoyed
with the limitations of most universal remotes and wanted programmability.
I haven't had a chance to read everything at that site, but can I assume
that if a remote has the 6-pin interface then I can program it?  I remember
seeing that on this particular remote and being suspicious that I was
missing out on something.
