As I already contritely posted, I typed kB when I meant kb, and I don't
usually do that.  I feel sort of dumb about it.

It is 720 kb.  (I have 768 kb service, so given the general condition
of the infrastructure around here, I think I'm doing pretty well.  My
ISP is talking vaguely of being able to offer 1.5 Mb service out here
Real Soon Now.  They're already doing so in town, which is about seven
miles away.)
