Only 2nd cable needed?

I'm a newbie to DirecTivo so please be gentle. I've looked through this
group and couldn't find where these questions have been asked, so
hopefully they're not a FAQ, so here goes.

Oval dish but only "sees" sat 101 (apparently).
I receive DirecTV and DirecPC (2-way) over the dish.
Three receivers in the house, all in different rooms.
Of course, separate cables going to each room from the dish.
Just purchased, installed, and configured a new Hughes HDVR2, and working
good. Replaces one existing receiver.
HDVR2 currently has one cable from the satellite to it.

Question 1: Does it sound like all I need is a new cable strung from the
satellite dish to the DTivo to use the 2nd receiver? If not, what would I
need?

Question 2: Since I already called DirecTV and they switched service from
my old receiver to this new one, is there an additional charge (e.g., the
4.99/mo for another receiver) for the two connections into the one box,
even though there's only one access card?

TIA
