Mark,
I get the thick white lines but they see more to move more right to left.
Does that mean anything?
Can one of the other devices be causing this? I powered down the
(old) VCR but still have the problem.
My power strip has no filtering; what if I got a good UPS, not for
the battery backup so much as the line filtering?
What else can cause this? The outlets are grounded. The receiver is
new (to get hidef) but I had this problem before. Man, I miss my
TIVO. WHEN will D* get a hidef TIVO! I want it, and hope it comes
out before TIVO goes out of business. Checkout VOOM, a new
sat service with only hidef channels; sounds cool but $750 upfront
for equipment, and no CNN or TBS and a few more I like. Maybe
D* will soon add more hidef channels, anyone know? They ought to
add one new one a month, a stready stream of new ones; they are out
there, since VOOM has so many.
