Baltar is executed in the theatrical version.  In the 3-part TV
version, he is 'removed for public execution'.

If it's widescreen, it's the theatrical (and heavily edited) version,
where Baltar bites the dust.

I'd just grin and bear it and get the TV series boxed set.  That way,
you won't miss any footage.
