The single disc release of the pilot in widescreen is the theatrical version, where Baltar does indeed get executed. The original TV version of the pilot is only available in the complete series set, and in fullscreen. The pilot actually *should* be in fullscreen, as that was how it was shot and aired. The theatrical version is widescreen because it was matted from theatrical projection. -- jayembee
