New Releases: Nutech anime, status changes: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

Announced from Universal Music are several titles. For music fans there are
Sheryl Crow: C'mon America 2003 and Drive-Thru Records DVD Version 2.0 due
on December 9th. If car racing is more your thing than you can take a look
at NASCAR: A Decade At The Brickyards, NASCAR: Tony Stewart: Smoke and
NASCAR: Winston Cup 2003. All three sport 5.1 audio and will be released on
December 16th for $19.98 each.

Nutech has an amine blitz set for early in the new year. On February 3rd
they have Lesbian Byoto #1 and Lesbian Byoto #2 as well as a box set of
both. February 10th brings Magical Kanan #1, Magical Kanan #2, Magical Kanan
#3 and Magical Kanan #4, Magical Kanan Special #1, Magical Kanan Special #2,
Maids In Dream #1, Maids In Dream #2, Mama #1, Mama #2, Shuukaku No Yoru #1,
Shuukaku No Yoru #2, Shuukaku No Yoru #3, Wind Of Ebenbourg #1 and Wind Of
Ebenbourg #2. Each disc is $24.95 and for each series there is a box set
with all members of the group.

On March 2rd Nutech continues this anime trend with 2 X 1: Volume #1, 2 X 1:
Volume #2, Dark Shell #1, Dark Shell #2, Doskokai Again #1, Doskokai Again
#2, Momiji #1, Momiji #2, Momiji #3, Momiji #4, Princess Memory #1, Princess
Memory #2, Romance Wa Tsurugi No Kagayaki 2 #1, Romance Wa Tsurugi No
Kagayaki 2 #2, Romance Wa Tsurugi No Kagayaki 2 #3, Romance Wa Tsurugi No
Kagayaki 2 #4, Romance Wa Tsurugi No Kagayaki 2 #5 and Romance Wa Tsurugi No
Kagayaki 2 #6. For the last group there are two box sets, the first with
#1-3 and the second containing #4-6.

Looks like Anchor Bay is re-releasing the Herzog/Kinski Collection with the
same UPC as the discontinued version. UPC 013131172997. The re-released set
will be out on February 10th for $89.98.

Warner Brothers is resurrecting Gettysburg (Special Edition) again keeping
the old, discontinued UPC of 053939613926. The new release date will be
February 3rd with a retail price of $19.97.

Some other status changes have been confirmed. Fox Lobert has cancelled Kurt
And Courtney (Special Edition). Buena Vista has announced the P&S version of
the Santa Clause / Santa Clause 2 double feature pack.

Ardustry has once again discontinued the DVD Ultimate line they took over
from Unapix. This includes the Silver, Gold, Gold 4.5 and Platinum versions
of this home theater calibration series. DVD International has discontinued
the calibration disc Video Essentials: Optimizing Your Audio/Video System
(DVD International).

Universal is discontinuing several of their collector's editions. Included
are Slap Shot (Special Edition/ 25th Anniversary Edition), The Thing
(Collector's Edition), Ron Howard Signature Collection: Edtv / Apollo 13 /
Backdraft, Scarface (1983/ Anniversary Edition/ Widescreen) / Scarface
(1932) (Deluxe Gift Set), Blues Brothers (Special Edition), Pitch Black
(Collector's Edition/ R-Rated Version), Pitch Black (Collector's Edition/
Unrated Version), Out Of Sight (Collector's Edition), Mallrats (Collector's
Edition), Kevin Costner 2-Pack: Field Of Dreams (Special Edition) / For Love
Of The Game and Out Of Sight (DTS).

As with all titles listed out of print some may have been replaced but other
editions or are available as single releases instead of discontinued
multi-disc packs. Please check the various out of print lists for all titles
affected and he rescheduled list for any possible replacements.

Some of the 203 titles scheduled for release next week, December 3rd.
