panasonic dvd recorder time search feature

I have a dmr-e60 dvd recorder and cannot find any way to do a time
search (HH:MM goes directly to that elapsed time period on the
disk)when playing a dvd video.

Am I missing something? Every dvd player I have encountered has this
basic (and usrul) feature. Any information on this topic would be
appreciated.
