Nero 5.5 can burn DVD's, does it nicely, but unless it detects a DVD-Writer the DVD functionality is not even there; it should appear when you run it with a DVD-RW installed, if not then make sure that it sees the DVD-Writer in recorders, and maybe you'll have to re-install the software. Nero can select DVD writing in the top left of the burning dialogue box. > I am thinking of buying a DVD writer and am not sure whether to go for OEM > or retail. > > Am I correct in assuming that if I go for an OEM version it comes with no > software at all?
