Sky digibox and Panasonic DMR HS2

I subscribe to SkyDigital and I am thinking of buying Panasonic DMRHS2
DVD recorder.  I get the impression that I can use the Sky personal
Planner on my digibox to trigger the Panasonic box to automatically
make recordings.

Before I "take the plunge" is anybody out there using this combination
and does it work?  I have considered a Sky+ box, butwant to be able to
record to DVD and I don't fancy paying Sky anymore money!

Any real life experiences would be appreciated
