As you appear to be posting from the USA it would seam likely that the disc
you are refering to is PAL as used in Europe, Australia & New Zealand etc.
This would likely be incompatible with your TV and DVD player as they would
be NTSC and it is unusal they would be multistandard. You should be able to
play the disc on a DVD equiped PC or Mac.
