It sounds like the disc you have is a Japanese release, NTSC region 2, a UK
release would be PAL region 2 with a BBFC certificate. Saying that I don't
know why you can't play it, it may be that your TV doesn't accept a NTSC
input, most TVs sold in the UK do. If you can, try another player or TV.
