Of course this assumes you have a Digital Video Camera. If yes then it may support analog pass through. I run my VCR into my Digital Video Camera and from the DVC via Firewire to my PC and into a Video Capturing software package like Adobe Premiere or Windows Movie Maker. From there you can easily burn to DVD. Doing it this way also affords you a chance to try and "cleanup" the video a bit and maybe add a title or some other simple edits here and there.
