If you assert a point, it's your responsiblity to offer up some evidence. Otherwise it's just a passing thought and will be treated as such. > I'm sure you and I both have better things to do than poll users > on NG's to find out what they really do with there burner. I'm no expert on statistics, but I believe a poll here would make a poor sampling. The more tech-savy types take the time to follow these groups so the poll would be skewed toward them. > Who hear hasn't made a copy with a dual cassette deck ? Just like another discussion in this group, different laws come into play depending on where you are. Where I live, borrowing music and making a copy for your own personal use is perfectly legal. > This poor guy comes on asking a simple question and > people jump all over him for assuming he is doing something illegal. I agree with this point. I dislike those who pounce on someone posting a question because they assume the poster is doing something illegal. Sometimes the pouncer is wrong, and of course they just slink away rather than doing the honourable thing and apologising. Of course, the honourable thing would be to get the facts straight first, but that seems to be too much of a stretch. Rick. -+--- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.alienshore.com/seeking/
