Panasonic s55s DVD Player (Aspect Control)

I'm looking at purchasing the Panasonic s55s DVD player for use with a
Sony XBR400 TV (supports 16:9 Enhanced Mode). My question is: does the
s55s have aspect ratio control?

This CNET review claims the s55s has no aspect control:
