Re: Has Sony improved the quality of their DVD players?

I bought a progressive scan sony  last year and I am having troubels with it
already. While watching a movie the tv screen goes blank then in a few seconds
resumes playing this happens many times in the course of the movie and I have
tried everything  (cleaning,different movies, rentals verses brand new) and it
still does it.
Buy something else!
