I am very aware of the copyright laws and that is what I believe and teach my child. (I have authored a lot of software and although I do not make as much as say the recording industry, I do share their feelings.) My intention is to rent a DVD from the neighborhood store, watch it that night or Copy it to tape to watch at my own leisure. Then use the tape over again. I'm not into movies that much that I have to watch them over and over and over..... If I really like a movie, then I'll buy it. If I want to own it forever, I might as well have a decent copy to own. Can I take the DVD and through A/V outputs, plug into a separate VCR and copy it that way? ~Alan "Biz" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > No, Most if not all combo players in fact state this very plainly.
