Ronin DVD-215 Problem Zoom

Hi

Friend of mine has recently bought a Ronin DVD-215 player. He says that if
he uses the zoom feature the x2 etc information stays on the screen. On my
Pioneer it displays for seconds then disappears! Leaving the zoomed in
screen. Anyone any ideas why this is happening?
