Warner Brothers has the most expensive list price release with the $400.92 for the January 6th release of Babylon 5: Complete First Four Seasons (Box Set). This beats out the complete four season pack of the Sopranos by a buck. Warner Brothers also has Friends: The First Six Seasons set for January 27th for $259.92. Anime fans can look forward to the January 6th releases from Pioneer. Akira (Signature Series), Armitage III: Poly-Matrix (Signature Series), Beyblade #1: Let It Rip (Signature Series), Beyblade #2: National Champions Finals (Signature Series), Cardcaptors #1: Tests Of Courage (Signature Series), Catnapped (Signature Series), Gatekeepers #1: Open The Gate (Signature Series), Lain #1: Navi (Signature Series), Trigun #1: The $60,000,000,000 Man (Signature Series) and Panda Go Panda (Signature Series). For Sailor Moon fans Pioneer has on January 6th; Sailor Moon R Movie (Signature Series), Sailor Moon S Movie Hearts In Ice (Signature Series), Sailor Moon S TV Series (Signature Series) and Sailor Moon Super S Movie Black Dream Hole (Signature Series). Also from Pioneer on the same date are Tenchi In Tokyo #1: A New Start (Signature Series), Tenchi Muyo Ova (Signature Series), Tenchi the Movie (Signature Series) and Tenchi Universe (Signature Series). On January 6th Fox is set to release individual film two discs sets from the Alien Quadrilogy. These are basically the first eight of nine discs each containing the theatrical and director's cuts. All technical specifications and extras are the same as those first eight discs. Each set will retail for $26.98. Good news from Warner Brothers for people that enjoy classic films from the golden age of Hollywood. On February 3rd WB will release several titles from their catalog. Included so far are; My Fair Lady (with re-mixed 5.1 audio and anamorphic video), Mutiny On The Bounty, Mrs. Miniver, Grand Hotel, Goodbye, Mr. Chips and Gaslight. Each title will retail for $19.98. Warner Brothers has a couple of World War II documentaries set for release on February 3rd; Bataan Rescue: American Experience and MacArthur: American Experience. For sports fans Warner Brothers has NHL Minnesota Wild: The State Of Hockey set for January 27th and NFL Super Bowl XXXVIII set for February 24th. If you need to reorganize your life for the new year Warner Brothers will release Organizing From The Inside Out With Julie Morgenstern on January 6th.
