New Releases: Kill Bill, Lost In Translation; Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists



Columbia/TriStar has several releases due out on January 27th. The Jon
Lovitz animated series The Critic will have a complete series release. The
retail price is listed as $49.95. Also on that date is Labyrinth
(Collector's Edition Box Set). This set includes new bonus material which
has not been completely announced yet. So far it's slated for a Surround
audio and anamorphic 2.35:1 video transfer for $49.95. Rounding off that day
of releases are Gang Of Roses, Guilty As Charged and Secret Lives Of
Dentists.

Paramount has some titles just announced that may interest some. MTV has
been producing youth oriented remakes of the classics and will release
through Paramount Wuthering Heights on January 27th. Featuring Aimee
Osbourne, Chris Masterson, Erika Christensenand Katherine Heigl with songs
by Meatloaf composer Jim Steinman will retail for $24.95.

On February 3rd Paramount will release The Fighting Temptations in both a
P&S and anamorphic widescreen versions. The extras feature eight extended
music numbers and seven extended scenes. Retail is $29.95.

Paramount has announced Star Trek: Voyager Season One for release on
February 24th featuring Dolby 5.1 audio and full screen video. The list
price was given as $139.95.

Critically acclaimed film Lost In Translation will be released by Universal
on February 3rd. Both a P&S and anamorphic widescreen will be released. Both
versions will have both Dolby 5.1 and DTS audio. Directed by Sophia Coppola
and featuring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson the announced extras
include Deleted Scenes; Matthew's Best Hit TV - Extended Scenes; "Los on
Location" Featurette; Kevin Shields "City Girl" Music Video; "Found
Conversation: Sofia Coppola and Bill Murray." The retail price is $26.95.

New Line has two titles, previously released as two disc sets, coming out as
single discs. Seven and Blade 2 will be released on February 3rd for $19.97
each.

Ventura will release Yes: Yesspeak 35th Anniversary on February 3rd for
$22.95.

Showtime has Queer As Folk: The Complete 3rd Season due out on February 24th
with a list price of $109.95.

News from a studio representative over at Buena Vista, Kill Bill Part One
will be released on February 3rd. There was some doubt about the UPC they
had and the full details are not yet announced but Dolby 5.1 and anamorphic
2.35:1 look certain. At this point the retail price is listed as $29.99. I
also have confirmation that the UPC for the disc will be 786936226997.

Some exercise videos from Goldhil Video are due out soon. Leisa Hart:
Digital Gym In A Box will be released on January 2nd just in time for New
Year resolutions. Next week, November 25th will bring Bar Method Body:
Designer Sculpting and  Bar Method Body: Fat Free for $19.95 each or a two
pack with both for $29.95.

Viz Entertainment will release a few anime titles. Inu-Yasha: The Wind And
The Void (V.14) will come out on February 10th. On February 17th they have
Zoids: Chaotic Century - Discovery (V.1). On March 2nd Corrector Yui: Volume
4 - Network Of Spies and Project Arms: Twas Brillig (V.8). All titles will
retail for $24.95.

in several formats as well as daily changes. The official list now features
35,668 titles with 277 additions or changes and  187 Pre-Release
announcements. The All Titles list has 35,855 titles. Recent releases
include: Last Week 232, This Week  396 and Next Week 249 titles.

Collection, Taken, Sopranos Season 4, Matrix Reloaded, Avril Lavigne: My
World, Scarface(1983), Scarface (1932), Smallville, In Cold Blood, Kiss
Symphony, The Two Towers, Chicago and All That Jazz. Past film reviews
include Steve O Out on Bail, May, Phone Booth, 12 Angry Men (1957), Them,
Usual Suspects and Gormenghast . Coming titles listed before all the specs

Updated lists for discontinued, cancelled, postponed and rescheduled titles
as well as lists for DTS, ES/EX and Superbit titles. UPC numbers and
original release dates now being added to the database. There is also a
