Oh let's see. There's TMPEGenc, DVD2AVI, DVD Decrypter, and VOBrator to
name just a few. But I like X2CD. The app allows you convert DVD streamed
audio direct to MP3 format without having to go through WAV format first and
it will treat the entire DVD as a SINGLE stream. But the best feature for me
is that the viewer that comes with it will allow you to set start/stop
points as you're viewing it and if that's not accurate enough, it will allow
you to access the start/stop point clocks so you can manually advance or
turn back to the exact second from which you want to extract a clip(if so
inclined). This allows you to precisely chop the entire DVD stream into nice
little MP3 files. Great for dividing a Live Concert DVD video into separate
audio tracks. But the caveat here is that it does not re-multiplex. But I
use Sound Forge or Vegas 4.0 for that anyway.
