I'll keep this short and sweet as you can get more details via EBay and by emailing me. In this complete package you get the awesome JVC GY-DV5000U camera with the Canon 16:1 internal focus lens, the 1.5" viewfinder, and the stock JVC omni mic. PLUS the JVC shock-resistant microphone mount with the Sennheiser K6 power module and the ME-66 hypercardioid boom mic and the ME-64 cardioid mic capsules for professional ENG and clear audio. Powering the camera is the Aspen A-lock (also known as the Sony V-mount) NiMH battery system. This includes two 65 WH brick batteries and one 100 WH brick battery. These can provide for a total of 8 hours of power at 25W. Included is the Aspen Pro dual simultaneous charger with AC-DC power out for the camera (and yes, a 10 ft. 4-pin XLR cable is included). The battery mount is already on the camera and I do include the original NP style mount that came with it. Add to that the Frezzi on-board 35W pro dimmer light and accessory kit with diffuser, blue filter, and adjustable barn doors for a complete lighting solution. The light powers off the batteries or the battery mount with a standard Anton Bauer style power tap. The camera is all wrapped up in a Portabrace shoulder case and fits comfortably in the Portabrace carry-on case. Everything is under a year old and even the camera has the balance of the 1 year warranty!!! Everything listed here was used in filming a documentary in New Zealand last month and is no longer needed (I'm planning for a D9 or maybe even a DVCPRO or DVCPRO HD setup). I have a separate BR-DV3000 deck for playing all the tapes and rewinding. The light was barely used and the rain coat with the shoulder case was never used. The handle shows some chipping but that's it!!! (and for those picky people, the handle can be replaced with just two screws - but I think it gives the camera character). Here is a link (and it's in the auction as well) to a picture page with tons of pictures: http://66.166.117.22/dv5000_pics.htm Here is a link to the auction page: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2964872106 Any questions? Email me by replying to this post or at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Because I know the spammers love the groups, that email address will be gone next week when the auction is over. This would be a great compliment to any desktop or professional editing system (Toaster, Matrox, Avid, Adobe, etc...) as well as provide great footage for production on DVD. Thanks for letting me take a little of your bandwidth! Brian Lowry
