Re: Cable TV Pricing

Exactly how much is standard cable in your area? I work for Comcast,
and their rates are increasing in the next few months. Right now you
pay about $44 for standard analog cable. As fate would have it, I
live about two miles west of Comcast's service area so my cable
provider is Time Warner. Their standard analog service is about $47
after taxes and fees. Of course both companies are always offering
low-cost promotions to gain more subscribers. Right now we (Comcast)
have a "Dish Buy Back" promotion that pays active Dish subs $400 to
turn in their dish & receiver and sign up for cable service.
