I would also like to buy a descrambler box for legal use. I am with
Comcast in the Tallahassee, Florida area. I used to have service with
Dish Network, and switched to Comcast so I could get local channles.
Dish had a really nice feature on their boxes that would allow you to
schedule programs in advance. You can select multiple programs on
different channels and the box would auto-tune to the channel when the
time was right. The Comcast box won't do this. Dish now offers local
channles in my area and I'm considering switching back, but if I can
stick with Comcast I will. I have spoken to many people at Comcast and
no one seems interested in helping me.

Does anyone know where I can get a box that will work on the Comcast
system? I know little of the technology, but I assume each carrier
(and maybe area) requires a specific type of box?
