Re: ? Adults Only AI

Until recently, Club Med did not include purchases at the bar. However, last spring they changed the "American Zone" villages to include the bar and snacks, but only if you are from America and Canada.

A different arguement to include Club Med in lists of all-inclusive resorts, they started it, and therefore their definition of all-inclusive is the definition? And CM is a way bigger chain than any of the others.

I used the average rating for these resorts that was published in these media.

Unfortunately, most of the ratings are pretty bogus. What the resorts claim often has nothing to do with the "industry standard". Some resorts now claim to be "six star", whatever that is. Club Med's trident rating only goes to four.

Is there a significant difference in resort atmosphere between the two age cut-offs?

Well, it depends if you are worried that everyone is over 18, or if that cute boy/girl at the bar is really 16. But mostly, resorts that allow 14+ or 16+ are going to get more groups of families. And I'm not a big fan resorts full of high schoolers.
