Hello all,As with most tropical islands in the Caribbean, storms blow in and blow out. Besides, your forecast is for 30% chance of rain. I wouldn't worry until the forecast is 50% or higher chance of rain.
Taking a trip to Punta Cana this weekend and I see there is a 30% chance of rain/thunderstorms throughout the weekend. If it rains, can I expect a wash out, or do the storms blow through in an hour or two, leaving sunshine behind?
Thanks in advance!!

Short showers are most common, unless a front moves in that could linger for several days.
