Given that the original post is nearly a month old..

It really depends on what you want to do.  We (that is to say my wife
and I) honeymooned in Bora Bora at the Perl Beach resort (we've photos
here: http://www.holidaydestinations.net/photos/showgallery.php?cat=505)
and loved it, despite what I'm about to mention below..

The one thing we noticed about the Pearl Beach was that, like us, the
majority of people there are honeymooners and you've got to put up with
a lot of smooching, holding hands and general lovey-doveyness.  We also
found that there wasn't really much to do on the main island.  If you're
into diving, swimming and generally lazing about then Bora Bora is a
perfect place - just don't expect much action.  And yes, as you've
already said, it's expensive :|
