B&B Providence RI

Dear B&B moderators:

I will be visiting Providence with my sister, who is thinking of relocating
there (from California). We would like to stay in a neighborhood, convenient
to downtown but quiet and pleasant, for 3 or 4 nights (arriving Dec 17 or 18
and leaving Dec 21). The idea would be to get a feeling for what it's like
to live and work there. We do not require anything elegant or romantic, just
clean and reasonably comfortable. We don't know the neighborhoods well
enoguh to request anything, but near the University would certainly be nice.
We have in mind $70-$80 a night. Do you have any suggestions?
