Recommendations for best milage credit cards

Is there an airline mileage travel credit card that is recognized as
just about the best deal??
I am interested in a card which earns a mile for each dollar spent.
Also that allows the use of accumulated mileage for redemption with
several airlines with reasonable expiration dates.
Reading most of the fineprint reveal many exclusions and early
expiration dates on mileage usage. Thanks for any help/suggestion from
anyone who has compared these credit card offers recently!
