According to the buzz around the 'net, these are supposed to be held for
Black Friday, November 28th. I've read similar stories several times
including 16bit.com where they gave the guy a $5 store credit "for his
trouble".

Sometimes, the over-night stockers don't know or don't pay attention to
release dates on toys since they so rarely have them.  Best bet would be to
go to Wal*Mart on that dreaded day and try again then.  They're not being
recalled.
