There are a few good triathlon clubs in the Boston and East Ma areas. Try
http://triteam.tripod.com/ or http://www.baystatetri.com/ . A good club will
give you a source of training partners and great fellowship with people of all
abilities.  Best of luck with your future Tri's (Just started this year
myself).
