"I'mHuge" states that this term necessarily incorporates consistency,
placement, disguise, and early ball-taking in its definition. In other words
it's a synonym for " not giving your opponent time to play the ball by a
combination of pace, placement, disguise, and court-position".
I deny it. I think "overpowered" means "overPOWERED" and I think most
people conceive it as somebody blasting people off the court with sheer pace
of shot and not simply reducing the amount of time opponents have to play
the ball by other means. Hingis for example is NEVER evinced as an example
of power even though she was extremely good in the time-reduction area
(achieved through other factors and not pace of shot). Likewise with Edberg
and a number of net-players..........
