I see absolutely no hope for Elke Clijsters. There are hints -- note that these are just rumours -- that even Leo Clijsters knows this. It's been said that he's been blackmailing wildcards for Elke: "If you don't give her a wildcard, Kim won't play either." I don't know if it's true. It doesn't matter, since under WTA rules, Elke can only take so many wildcards. And when she *does* take them, she invariably loses. Either way, it's an ugly picture.
