I would agree about your comments on the Belgian Olympic Committee. The committee apparently has a contract with Adidas but what I was wondering about is whether the contract stipulates that all Belgian Olympic athletes should wear Adidas. In other words, is the contract forcing their hand on this issue or are they just doing this for some other reason. If they are not obligated by the contract then I would describe them as more than just "stupid" "Steve Jaros" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message > news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > Yahoo! is running a story citing a statement on Clijsters' Web site that > > because the Belgian Olympic Committee won't budge on its requirement > > The Belgian Olympic committee is obviouslu quite stupid, and they deserve to > have the situation cost them a medal at the games. > > > -- > "if federal judges have the final word over its meaning, > the Constitution would be a mere thing of wax in the hands > of the judiciary, which they may twist and shape into any form > they please". > > - Thomas Jefferson > >
